Loic’s approach to therapy is grounded in compassion and authenticity, acknowledging the strength found in vulnerability. In his practice, he emphasizes relating to clients as individuals and takes great care to unfold and understand clients’ unique stories and perspectives.
Regardless of the modality he is working with, he always makes a point to encourage clients’ innate capacities for growth and change, their agency, their strengths, their ability to generate insight, as well as their abilities to attain personal goals and locate meaning in their lives.
Loic has experience working with youth and young adults in both care-based and academic settings. He has worked as a caregiver, tutor, and teaching assistant for both neurodivergent (ADHD, autism), and neurotypical children, teens, and emerging adults.
He has experience helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal relationships, existential questioning, and life transitions. He also has considerable experience working with individuals presenting with autism and ADHD.
Outside of psychotherapy Loic is interested in literature, music, writing, and basketball.
