BOOK APPOINTMENT <\/a><\/p>\r\n Adult Individual Psychotherapy<\/a> <\/p>\r\n Compassionate, attentive, and effective, our practice offers help and hope to people experiencing all types of emotional difficulties. From clinical diagnoses to a thoughtful ear, our services help people find comfort and closure.<\/p>\r\n Our professional and experienced providers and staff are focused entirely on the mental health and happiness of our patients. We offer both long-term and acute treatment plans, enabling us to provide the most effective services right when they are needed. If you are struggling – no matter if it is a new struggle or one that has challenged you for years – we are here to listen, offer support, and help you become your truest and best self.<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n Bernadette was born and raised in the Philippines. After completing her undergraduate in Psychology, she went to North America to travel. Bernadette came to Canada to complete a post-graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Sciences, eventually immigrating as she worked through a Master of Clinical Psychology degree from Adler Graduate Professional School. She has worked as a school guidance counsellor, behaviour therapist, clinical supervisor for intensive behaviour interventions (IBI) for children with Autism, play and social skills therapist, and collaborated with CAMH, Hospital for Sick Children, various schools, and community agencies for research and to support client growth and transition.<\/p>\r\n Bernadette has over 15 years of experience working with clients across the lifespan. She sees individuals with a wide range of concerns including Attention-Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD); Autism; Learning disabilities; behavioural concerns; Anxiety; Decolonization and racial identity, Depression including Postpartum Depression and Bereavement; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); childhood-trauma and personality disorders.
